Application form

An electronic application form will function on the Foundation’s homepage from December 24th 2017 until midnight January 31st 2018. The form can be filled out and sent during this period. At any other time the application form cannot be sent electronically.

Both individual researchers and research groups can apply for a grant.

Grants for professional training and projects must be applied for individually. If the grant concerns a group, each member of the group must fill out his or her own application form. The applicant can also be a registered association. On one form only one applicant can apply for only one reason during the grant period og two years. The reason can be continued training, a course (which can be held in several instalments), publication of a book, or some other project that belongs to the medical disciplines covered by the Foundation.

Persons applying for grants for professional education and projects must state their level of education and, if the training will take place abroad, furnish some proof of their language ability. The application form should also contain information on who is arranging the training and also the course curriculum.

All pertinent information must be given in the application. No appended documents will be accepted.

The application should be sent electronically, and the filled-out form should also be printed out, signed and sent to the Foundation. If the application is for a research grant, the signed original and five copies should be sent. If it is for professional education and projects, the signed copy must be accompanied by one complete copy.

The applications should be sent to the following address:

The Signe and Ane Gyllenberg Foundation

Yrjönkatu 4 A 5

00120 Helsinki

Applications will not be returned to applicants.
